Cranbrook businesses are invited to take part in this year’s Business Decorating Contest, proudly themed “Honouring 100 Years of Service, Spirit, and Community with the Royal Canadian Legion.” This is your chance to celebrate a century of dedication while showcasing your creativity and community pride.
🎨 How to Decorate Your Storefront
Bring the theme to life by incorporating elements that reflect the Legion’s legacy and community impact, such as:
- Red, white, and poppy-inspired décor to honour service and remembrance
- Historic touches like vintage photos, timelines, or stories highlighting 100 years of community involvement
- Patriotic accents including banners, flags, or silhouettes of service members
- Community spirit displays showcasing local connections, teamwork, and pride
- Creative window scenes that tell a story—past, present, and future—of service and community
Décor can be bold, subtle, artistic, or heartfelt—the goal is to reflect the theme in a way that’s authentic to your business.
