Tournament Details:

Dates: Games will be played on Saturday and Sunday

Minimum Games: Each team is guaranteed at least 3 games

Cash Prize: This year, we are offering a cash prize for division winners on Sunday

Game Format & Rules:

All games will be 60 minutes long.

Standard FIFA rules apply.

Unlimited substitutions at the referee’s discretion.

Red card = 1-game suspension (including two yellows in a single game). A serious incident will be reviewed by the tournament discipline committee.

Players may only play for one team, except in the Masters division. Violation of this rule will result in team disqualification.

Point System:

Win = 3 points

Tie = 1 point

No Goals Against = 1 point

Win by Default = 3 points

Tie-breakers: Head-to-head results will be used first. If needed, goal differential (max 5-goal mercy rule) will be applied. If still tied, a coin toss by the head official will determine the advantage.

Important Notes:

Check Results: Be sure to check results at Moir Field Headquarters after Saturday’s play to see your team’s position for Sunday.

 

Refunds:

Refunds will be provided minus a $40 admin fee. No refunds after registration closes.

Disclaimer: This tournament is sanctioned by BC Soccer, and it is the responsibility of each team to ensure that all players meet the registration requirements.

 

  • For any unregistered players, a BC Soccer Short-Term Event Player Permit is required. The permit fee is $15.75 per player (including GST) and must be obtained prior to participation.
  • Alberta teams may participate with a sanctioned travel permit from Alberta Soccer, which will be accepted in place of individual player permits.

Teams must verify compliance before the tournament to ensure eligibility. Failure to meet these requirements may result in disqualification.
