The Annual Wiener Dog races will be held at the Spirit of the Rockies Festival Central Fairgrounds. The Central Fairgrounds are located between Western Financial Place and the Viking Skate park. The address is 17 Ave S between 2 St N and 1 St S.

Watch them Dacsh-und be amazed! Yes folks, it’s that time of year again! June 17th @ 1:00 pm we will be hosting the Wiener Dog Races at the Spirit of the Rockies festival. Watch as our area’s fastest pups compete to be crowned the Wiener (yup, we said Wiener!).
If you have a wiener dog (or a wiener dog mix no taller than 11” tall from foot to shoulder), sign up now for the chance for your pup to compete for fastest Wiener in the Kootenays and have a shot at the coveted golden wiener trophy. For a $20 donation, your pup is guaranteed one race, a whole lot of love from the crowd, and a shot at eternal glory. We have space for 18 brave and ambitious doggos.
